I know this personally.

I once sat across from a licensed counselor who promised we could reduce my “unwanted same-sex attraction.”

Those words taught me to hate myself in a voice that sounded like my own.

If a licensed clinician tells a patient their identity can be changed through therapy, that isn’t protected speech.
It’s fraudulent treatment.

Therapy isn’t casual conversation.
Words delivered as treatment are the intervention itself.
