was it drawing for fun that caused burn out or something more demanding like webcomics or commission that triggered it. I'm am currently in Burn Out City, it's my second or third visit, it's always been the pressure of deadlines and social media for me.

this way you are still creating when you feel the desire to create, but aren't using up that energy fast between projects, just pacing yourself with a piece. That's usually what I do, helps me focus on areas where I wish to grow as an artist

yeah I wouldn't call that burn out, it is simply the cycle of intake and create, because in need, that creative energy comes from somewhere and is finite to a degree, but idk if slowing down output is the solution. I think if you want to slow down, giving each piece a lil more attention may be best

honestly seconding, the genuine desire to draw is not what leads to burn out, so if you wanna draw DRAW....if not for yourself but for folks like me who are burn out and have to funnel our energies to art that has deadlines.
