Got it all working but now I’m questioning if I’ve just over complicated my idea. Will see what’s possible without an extension as an all in one app might be a better for the base of my app.
Having a nightmare with Share Extensions and #SwiftData only to find out the it wasn't failing to fetch the data... I was trying to render a list inside a list. Two days that's lost me fighting with Gemini and ChatGPT.
Now to see what I can unpick the monster I've hacked together.

Finished reading "Designing Hope" by @sarahhousley.bsky.social yesterday. An eye-opening read for me. Hadn't come across the term #GrowthAgnostic and I'm all for a #PostGrowthFuture. Lots of ways in which we can be positive for the future despite the political and financial climate now.

Happens in the Premier League, although not sure if it’s worse or not than La Liga. What I find odd is that players are so protected by modern rules but their reactions are exaggerated ensuring they get decisions. Refereeing is also terrible in England so I’m not sure if that fuels the drama?!
30minutes on the phone to Sky just to find out that they can't better their offer to double my internet speed as part of the fibre upgrade in my area. But that offer is worse than every other provider and they're offering at least a 12x improvement over my current speed along the same cables!

I’ve wanted to build a football app for over a decade but it’s not cheap licensing data as a hobby let alone taking the risk should your app take off. Sad to see apps falling by the wayside due to spiralling costs.
Plan was to have write some text but remote to get some alphabet stamps and use those instead for neatness and consistency.
Had a creative couple of days, fitting in time to make a lino stamp. Some trial and error but the last attempt came out better than anything I had attempted before. Ink is drying on my prints so will finish them with details in a day or two.
Wrote a lot of what felt like modern CSS today which feels way more maintainable and readable. Built out a colour system and variables all over the place that will make theming and spacing a breeze to update.
I never used that ‘rule’ but found this twists the game a little and makes sure the game can end whereas we’ve been stuck playing for hours in the past!

Today was my first chance to attend an Apple session and it was really interesting to listen and learn more about Liquid Glass and iOS 26. Hope I can join in with more of these sessions in the future.

Apps never do this, relying on the ATT pop up but I wonder how many actually don’t do invasive tracking regardless.
