It think it probably was the plan to let him play to set the record and the put in the back-up in the second half. I don’t blame him for doing at all. I don’t think he should have played at all in a meaningless bowl game.

Not ripping him! I simply think that is why he played at all and then didn’t play in the second half.

He played for selfish reasons. He set the NCAA record for career touchdowns in the first half!
