Theyre literally just some guy. Just mediocre at this fucking field like the rest of us.
Winning the popularity contest on the app they themselves wrote (or apparently, they wrote on the backs of everyones code that trained their tool of choice, rather) does something to people's brains. They are not your friends nor are they a special developer with a special skill you don't have.
One of the first things I did on this app was to mute their most active developers on here because I cant fucking stand the hero worship of software developers. We saw it in the React community as well and a lot of them turned out to be the biggest turds imaginable that can write code.
Big congrats to the @codepen.io team getting the big 2.0 to public beta.
It’s been years of hard graft and they’ve completely transformed what’s already a nailed on canonical building websites tool into something even more powerful.
