Hereditary Peers Bill passes in House of Lords, paving the way for further reform The Hereditary Peers Bill has passed in the House of Lords in one of the biggest reforms to Parliament and UK democracy in a generation.

Hereditary peers out of the Lords at long long last - delivering the rather simple principle that you don’t deserve a vote in Parliament by virtue of which family your were born into www.gov.uk/government/n...

I know it won't make any difference to his voters, who pay no attention to what's actually going on, and think foresight is for pussies and consequences can be wished away.

But if Farage was PM, we'd now be in a moronic, illegal war he demanded we join 2 days ago, and now thinks is a disaster.

You keep replying with this, but where have I argued with that? All agreements need the acceptance by both sides, but you have to start negotiating before you can get agreement.

Labour MPs just voted to expand free school meals to half a million more children, lifting 100,000 children out of poverty.

The Tories and Reform UK voted against.

Only Labour will give children growing up in our country the best start in life.

A healthy majority of voters now favour a negotiated return to the EU & the Greens and Libdems will fight the election on that basis. This will sideline Reform and make Farage irrelevant. France, Germany and Italy all have their own issues with the far right remember.

The super rich once hid their wilder β€œactivities” from the world for fear of public rebuke and retaliation, now they are so powerful they don’t even care who knows. End the monarchy now

Believe me, negotiating a return to the EU (or at least negotiating a CU/SM) will be part of Labour’s GE manifesto in 2029

How much more evidence do we need? The ultra-rich and the governments supporting them will destroy everything for the sake of profit, power and pride. Nothing is precious to them - not human life, not the living world - except their own wealth and status. Our survival depends on resisting them.

I think we’ll have to agree to disagree on this. For me, all the time Labour have red lines about rejoining EU or joining either the CM and/or SM then any slight improvements on the Tory deal is just to keep remainers on side and it’s not really working.

Trump's conviction that Britain yearns for the rule of Nigel Farage wouldn't give you much faith that he knows what's going on in Iran.
