I think this story is a really good example for people to look at when it comes to understanding bias at NYT. It's not that the reporter, Dana Rubinstein, says anything outright false. But the framing, word choices, etc., add up to an unprofessional and biased account.
the last few times iran has accepted a ceasefire, the US and israel have taken the opportunity to restock their weapons and then surprise attack iran again. "there's zero point in engaging in diplomacy with us any more" is what that strategy teaches
this has been the case for at least the last 15 years when news media gave up and just started publishing anything as long as someone said it somewhere, instead of reporting something that actually happened.
