My Thursday group got a bit of a wakeup call. They are now running the Bhakashal Thieves Guild. The guild had been bankrolling bandits that were attacking ships coming into the city. Patrols from House Tairn were interfering. They decided to go out and give the House Tairn patrols a bloody nose.

So my #DnD campaign is now on hold and my party has transitioned to a #GammaWorld (post apocalyptic mutants, Robots, androids and humans oh my!) this is their first sci-fi campaign. I have done SW and ST before but i'm looking for good resources for this unique world. got tips?

Hmmm.. need to go through my collection. Guess it would have to be in the War of 3039 era, as the much better looking Tri-Color parade scheme would kinda ruin the joke.... Definitely need to get a Cataphract to convert to a 4X.

Hailing from Tikonov, they were destined to be good for nothing layabouts, low level members of the local militia, and connected to strings of petty criminal acts. This all changed when the 4th War came and "liberated" Tikonov, and a goodly protion of the Capellan Confederation. Embracing the newfound opportunities, it had little to do with any sense of loyalty to the FedSuns or belief in them bringing a better life to the people of Tikonov, but more an oppurtunity for even more criminal activities. Joining the AFFS, they were originally kept on Tikonov as part of the peackeeping garrison. Things got real weird in 3038 when the Gopniks were transferred as a lance, to the Davion Heavy Guards, as part of a PR "Unity" Campaign, in the lead up to the War of 3039. Since then, the Brothers have become known as the unit's fixers, tapping into any local black market to get luxury goods, or even spare parts, ammo, etc, as needed. Ivan is the leader, a solid mechwarrior, if uninspired tactician. His brother Dmitri is frankly a terrible shot, and prefers to use his Charger for physical attacks, and likes to watch cartoons. Enrique fancies himself the brains of the group, and is pretty savvy when it comes to criminal connections. Tomas tends to be the most observant of the lot, and the best shot. He loves singing and is a secretly hopes to compete on New Avalon Idol someday.
