Pretty sure they made it clear during the talk that their goal is to no longer have an 'xbox version' and a 'pc version', but rather a pc version that runs on Helix. Unless I missed something.

No, they cant hold it forever because designing a console and allocating manufacturing and partner deals for specific parts isn't something they can just 'put on hold' for as long as they want. it takes years. If they wait too long their deals won't be worth anything and their parts will be outdated
Oh sure, that would be nice, assuming things DO get better before too long, which hopefully they do. But there's no telling how long the RAM and memory crisis will last
Well, those are rumors of course, but i'm sure they're milling it over because they have people much smarted than us working on this. But either way they're not going to drop the pro enough to release the ps6 at $500, there's just no way. The switch 2 is already $500 and far weaker, think about it
I certainly hope not as well, but unless stuff changes with RAM/storage you never know. The PS5 Pro is $750 USD and prices aren't going down, so at a bare minimum that puts the PS6 at around $850 before tax. I don't think it's great at all, but that's where we're at right now
No, i'm a filthy pc player so i'm using to prices being messed up. But your average household isn't going to go for an $800 console no mater who it's from. Have fun being a crazy fanboy though, I'm sure Sony really appreciates it. 🤷

Sony's canceled just as many games/studios, but both companies aren't doing "great" right now. And i sure hope something changes in the next 2-3 years with RAM, wafer, silicon prices otherwise it's going to price out a LOT of gamers because no one wants a $800-1000 console
Hope people are ready for this next gen of consoles to be expensive AF, and yes, that means the ps6 too. Look at the price of the ps5-pro and add at least $100 onto it.

100%, but i guess it's different for me because i WFH and do digital art and record music, so gaming is only 1/4 of what i use my pc for. But i can totally see building a pc solely for gaming in 2026 as a pretty niche thing, and a console making more sense for most
No. Games being taken away from a large platform sucks, and it's regressive and not the direction that's best for gamers. Because I'm far more likely to spend $60 on a sony game for my pc rather than $600 on a console to play 1-2 exclusives

From reading the article, which you should do before commenting, you get 30% and it seems you retain ownership, they just don't want you selling it other places at the same time you're selling it on the sims shops, it has to be free elsewhere if you're making money off the shop
