Three years ago, ZERO cities had these protections.
By the end of this month, that number will have grown to EIGHT cities across FOUR states!
West Hollywood, CA passed first reading, with final passage expected later this month.
WeHo also established a working group to develop benefits for non-monogamous partnerships.
Portland, OR voted to advance protections with strengthened language explicitly naming polyamorous families, multi-generational households, and more — making it the largest city in the country to do so.
Final passage expected next week.
Last night, Olympia, WA became the FIRST city in Washington state to pass these protections with a unanimous vote!

The City ALSO approved a motion establishing a staff working group "to develop policies and legislation for registering and providing benefits to multipartner and polyamorous partnerships," similar to (though legally distinct from!) domestic partnerships.
West Hollywood, CA just voted unanimously to pass nondiscrimination protections on first reading. A final vote will be held at the next Council Meeting.
WeHo is now the THIRD city in THREE states to advance protections in just the last week!
HAPPENING NOW: City Council in West Hollywood, CA is considering nondiscrimination protections for non-monogamous families and relationships.
If advanced, a final vote will occur next week.

Portland City Council today specifically cited the stories shared by constituents who bravely stood up to testify in support of these protections.
