Spouse was out of town this past weekend, and the person I had plans with had to cancel, so I spent the majority of the weekend playing Star Trek: Voyager - Across The Unknown. What a fun game! It isn't perfect, and there are some major flaws (no spoilers), but overall, I love it.
This was such a fun show! Canβt wait to watch it again and see what I missed in the moment watching it live
Cute!
I would die for Pombon.
Just a friendly reminder that no person is illegal, nobody has control over where theyβre born, and borders are made up lines that donβt exist naturally.
Heads up that Iβm running low on the pink version. I donβt have plans to restock them for awhile, so if youβd like one, grab it now!
In the process of updating Salesforce connectors on ~60 forms in FormAssembly to work with our new Nonprofit Cloud instance. Part of this requires adding a new connector field. The sheer amount of times I have typed "Don't Sent" instead of "Don't Send" ... π€¦
When I accidentally type "emal" instead of "email": βοΈ π‘
Screenshot of text The doors of Castlevania open once more. This year marks the 40th anniversary since the original βAkumajΕ Draculaβ first saw the light of day. In this commemorative year, βCastlevaniaβ will be revived. First up is this title: βCastlevania: Belmont's Curseβ. We couldnβt think in other studios to work together rather than Evil Empire and Motion Twin, studios brimming with talent and passion, to deliver a new exploration-based 2D action game that captures the essence of Castlevania while bringing fresh innovation. This is the beginning of numerous new products around Castlevania. Look forward to the return of the magnificent βnightmareβ lurking in the darkness. Castlevania series Production Team

Monty, a white Shih Tzu mix dog looks up from the floor. Heβs just had a haircut and looks extra cute.
Monty looks silly on the couch with his ears all floofed. He is sitting next to Sammy, our black and white Shih Tzu. Sheβs smaller than him and sitting on a pillow. Both of them are looking up at the camera; they just finished playing and are cuddling
Iβve once again been bad about lurking on here and not posting stuff, but we adopted another dog. His name is Monty, and heβs about 9-10 years old. Heβs an absolute sweetheart!
A BBC headline with a thumbnail photo of a rather crumpled crown and the caption "Louvre Museum crown left crushed but intact after raid"
"So how are you doing these days?"
Me:
Sir Ian McKellen performing a monologue from Shakespeareβs Sir Thomas More on the Stephen Colbert show. Never have I heard this monologue performed with such a keen sense of prescience. Nor have I ever been in this exact historical moment.TY Sir Ian, for reaching us once again.

Screenshot of an X.com post by The Associated Press (@AP) stating that dozens of immigrant families protested for better treatment behind fences at a Texas detention facility, where a 5-year-old Ecuadorian boy and his father were sent after being detained in Minnesota. Below is a video thumbnail showing a crowd gathered outdoors along a fenced walkway; many people wear bright blue or red outerwear, and some hold signs.
After being held in two of them as a boy, I fought for decades urging America to never again build concentration camps and put human beings in them. It breaks my heart to watch this happen twice now in my own lifetime.
Star Trek Deep Space Nine scene. And in case you never gave it a fair shake, DS9 is absolutely the real deal good shit. Ok, so here we see a fella named Damar. He's a Cardassian with a "C" not the other ones. He's got a boney ridgey facial structure because he's not human, with spiney features on his face and forehead and around his eyes. And a mega thicc neck too. He's wearing a military shell type armour outfit that also looks hard and tough. He's addressing the camera, as if he's making some kind of announcement. It's 3 screenshots but the visual is all the same. Damar looking serious as a heart attack. Closed caption reads, "RESIST. RESIST TODAY. RESIST TOMORROW." (Also, in case you were wondering, FUCK ICE)
Alts in pic 1
Alt is still in pic one I promise I'm not lying to you go check it'll be there trust me
Oops. Hope you were able to get some rest!
Itβs also definitely easier than C++, so thereβs that. I havenβt really coded anything that wasnβt html or css in a solid 30 years, so itβs just getting the right brain cells to fire
Do I want to learn Python? No. Do I want to make a dumb little discord bot for my own amusement? Yes. So here we are
A giant screen in an auditorium reads βDistant Worlds - Music from Final Fantasyβ above a stage filled with orchestral musicians
The world is a sad and scary place, but sometimes you bought tickets eight months ago to something you were excited about and have to honor your past self by going to a concert full of music from a video game series you love.
The big turning point is when media like the New York Times and the Atlantic decided to go all in on attacking trans kids.
They fired anyone who disagreed and they had credibility that the right didn't have. It created a permission structure for bigotry to be seen as reasonable.
Do we need to say it louder? Here. Louder.
" Federal courts in Alabama are using a law last applied during the U.S. internment [incarceration] of people of Japanese descent during World War II to charge immigrants who donβt register themselves..."

I think the algorithm knows because I've been randomly getting videos of Steven Universe content, and that was my comfort show last time I was really depressed
I've been pretty depressed since Merry died, and the state of things in our fascist hellhole of a country haven't helped. Been trying to find small, positive things to be grateful for, like silly co-op games with friends, DnD with the hubs, etc. It doesn't always work, but I'm doing my best.
I just saw the recipe you shared. That does look pretty easy! LMK how it goes.
I go to 85C semi-regularly and don't think I've seen senorita bread there. I'd be happy to try to swing by Starbread on the way home for you next time I go pick up comics at Ralph's.
Lime pepper seasoning sounds amazing. We're having chicken with sundried tomato and basil marinade plus roasted root veggies.
I've played these four games so many times.
I need a new gaming headset as one of my foster dogs chewed the dongle for my favorite pair and I don't like the replacement pair I bought. Only two requirements: 1) very comfy ear pads, 2) mutes/unmutes when you raise/lower the mic. Suggestions appreciated!
It's December 21st-- remember to make your breakfast, folks! π³
