Saint Oswalds in Grassmere.
Oswald, the King of Northumbria, visited in the 7th century.

Known for the Wordsworth graves, daffodils, and the little gingerbread shop.

Think they do the market once a month. But the cafe is quite nice anyway at other times.

First time at Campfield #Manchester when the market is on. Excellent sound system adding to the relaxed vibe.

It was probably the most unexpected best exhibition I've been to. I knew nothing of the artist before attending.

Flesh would come with an adult content warning if it was on TV.
Now I have to remember who I loaned Mockingbird to...

Christmas reads.
Harper Lee - short stories that I enjoyed, but mainly made me want to reread To Kill a Mockingbird.
Flesh by David Szalay - I read this really quickly, which is a good sign. It is a reflective and thought-provoking read that is often bleak / sad. #BookSky #Books πŸ’™πŸ“š

Christmas reads.
Mick Herron and Richard Osman - good - just as you would expect.
The second Full Moon Coffee Shop - OK, but not as good as the first one.
Patricia Lockwood - Odd - still not sure what I read.

"The fool doth think he is wise, but the wise man knows himself to be a fool."
Think this pretty much sums up now.
William Shakespeare in 1600, a description of a distopian future better than Orwell or Bradbury?
