After 5 years without the Omnitrix, Ben was startled at Heatblast's growth, being much stronger than he was as a child. He would prove invaluable in defeating Highbreed due to their weakness to fire.

During their final encounter that night, Animo successfully mutated a giant bat from the zoo, and ben decided now was as good of a time as ever to try out the only alien he hadn't yet. Using Loudmouths sonic screams, he took down Animo's mutant and sent him straight to the slammer..

Later that day ben found himself fighting the villainous Dr. Animo! Using Four Arm's strength, he fought a mutant turtle the size of a minivan and then some, but not before Animo got away with a part for his transmodulator, which meant now it would work on warm blooded creatures...
