Got the first stage of the contract done and then ran out of ammo. Tried a last-ditch attempt to melee the commander. Didn't end well 😅
Maybe I should be approaching this differently? Maybe i should've disengaged and come back with ammo?
I'm trying to convince my friend to pick up Marathon to play together. I've only been playing Solo so far, so it'll be cool to have some backup!

First successful extraction in Marathon - I get it now. I'm here for every inch of this.
Did the tutorial and my first (beginner) Marathon run. Game feels so good - the immediate tension of knowing I can lose my stuff really heightens the stress of decisions!
I've never played an extraction shooter, so maybe that's not a deep observation, but man, it feels so good to risk everything!
I've been playing Pokopia (see: my life has been taken over) and, unsurprisingly, absolutely loving it! It's easily one of my favourite pokemon games ever??
And I'm checking out Marathon after work today - I've never played an extraction shooter, so i'm super excited 😊

We made it through Mt. Moon without further casualty, added Shrudy the Sandshrew to the team on Route 4 and are now safe in Cerulean city!
Next gym is Mysty which should be okay with Venus once I grind up lots of levels on the bridge for the rest of the team!
Oh, totally! My cosy game is Bloodborne. I play it a few times a year or when I get in a slump.
I think "cosy feeling" is so divorced from the cosy that is now used as a marketing term.
To me, cosiness exists as a response to difficulty, and that's not always captured by this categorisation.

Someone can correct me for sure, but I think he's been on record about how close Bloodborne is to his vision than other games, but I can't remember for certain where I saw it!
