i used to be active on the forum run by the dev for his warrior cats fangame.. ugh! he's so nice and the games are SO fun

i totally get that!

i doubt it'll crop up secondhand anytime soon, but if you ever find it cheaper I would totally recommend it since
the gameplay's really fun imo

I know a lot of people hate how it looks, but idk, I've actually liked it so far

+wild pokemon just out and about in the city is fun. Like in the trees or on lampposts (and you can still catch them!)

I'm not super far into it yet because I'm having a lot of fun exploring and doing the parkour and sidequests

+ when you're running around it helps keep down the visual noise and processing load. Plus there's so many NPCs and pokemon and environment details, that the buildings are often meant to be that unobstrusive background. So far it's been really charming, the cutscenes have nice animations and seeing+

I'm genuinely having a lot of fun playing it!
I didn't get s/v because i didnt like how they ran or looked, but I have this for the switch 1 and while it has a little bit of frame lag sometimes, it's not bothersome.

I personally think it looks really nice. The buildings are often flat textures but+

ive seen some complaints coming from people not exploring or not taking full advantage of hornet's toolkit - which is a shame! shes SO satisfying to play as and very versatile

it's definitely better (imo) than some people are giving it credit for! its very challenging but most of those challenged are super satisfying to conquer.

plus there is SO much to explore. i thought id found everything i could and was only like ... halfway.

im pretty sure ive explored almost everything i possibly can in act 1? so if people want help finding something (tools, crests, mask shards, etc) just lmk

ive seen some ppl talk about rly struggling and unable to find stuff, but make sure youre exploring thoroughly! I found a LOT of stuff in Act 1

the game doesnt always stop you from going where you shouldnt yet - just like in HK - and some things change as u progress so backtracking is important

into act 2 now, and utterly loving silksong so far. ugh! its so good

except so many things doing double damage, but thats really my only complaint so far

If you unlock extra crests in Act 1 you can get downward bounces! I can DM you details if you want.
