Lemme just say, 1 in 4200 does not sound like a “small” chance of debris hitting something/someone. (Looks upward worriedly)

You are correct, I should have said the knit stitch, which results in garter stitch. I stand by my opinion on learning to drive in a manual car, however. :)
@juliethecranky.bsky.social something to consider when making Easter eggs this year!

Did I miss news about Tim Curry being ill?
Never seen a class where the first stitch taught(even before how to cast on, sometimes) isn’t garter. Stockinette requires two different stitches and an understanding of how the craft “works”. Teaching that first is like teaching a kid to drive on a stick first. You can do it, but it’s not fun.
I’d just like to say I’ve been watching that Dutch fish doorbell site for several days now, at various times of the day and night, and have only seen one fish. What’s up with that?
The #1 movie when you were 10 years old is how your 2026 is going to go.
If only life was this easy for me…
Some guy named Richard Quinn, apparently. No clue if he is independent or works for a famous house.
“RUB MAH BELLY!!!”
Windows 11 support for “another few years”? I just frigging started using it last year!
@juliethecranky.bsky.social This is such a gorgeous dress!

Honestly, you may as well skip learning and just buy the quilt. The cost is likely about the same!
@juliethecranky.bsky.social I don’t think this is the same show I already said I could see being worn in public. Some of these gowns are beautiful, too.

It doesn’t always work the way you’d hoped, though. Case in point: Raleigh, NC
Somebody please hold my hand and tell me Nathan Fillion isn’t toying with the hearts and loyalty of every Browncoat with his mysterious videos. #BrowncoatsRule #Firefly
Wow! 🤯 You must have a LOT of patience! Well done!
Well, tbh, I had a dysfunctional relationship with my mom, and my cousin who passed from an orphan cancer had been kind enough to watch over her when we had to move her to memory care. So it was a shock because while my cousins are much older than me, it wasn’t like we were estranged.
I’m so sorry for your loss. On a somewhat related note, I didn’t learn of my 1st cousin and aunt’s passings until another cousin called to let me know my mom (in memory care in another state) was days from dying. They had both died the previous year. 🤷🏻♀️
I’ve got to ask as a quilter…you’re talking about the 1”x2” tags in clothing? That’s…gonna take a lot of tags….

Something to lift your spirits, m’dear. 🩷

Pomegranate. Like, spend forever breaking this thing open, only to eat the SEEDS?! And they aren’t even sweet? Blech.
Cheap version. Especially if they’ll be around food and/or beverages.
Do we think there’s now a chance of a Lovejoy reboot?! (So here for that)
Five authors by whom I’ve read at least five books:
Janet Evanovich
Dick Francis
Robert B. Parker
Deanna Raybourn
Margaret Maron
You know the worst part of having a cold as a middle-aged woman? Sneezing after drinking a boatload of hot tea to help your throat. 😡
Lucky you! I was too lazy to start mine today so I guess no fresh bread for me for a couple more days. 🙁
If you live near an HMart, have you looked there?
I see your point, without a doubt. My only curiosity is whether his intent was to suggest that the last Republican president was better than this one? I mean, sure he wasn’t the guy I voted for, but if I had to pick the lesser of two evils? I’d pick Bush. 🤷🏻♀️
The sweater is beautiful. Unfortunately, the title of the book hits way too close to describing the last decade of my life.
Don’t try too many times to beat this score…you risk blindness
