It should go without saying but people are not a burden on the healthcare system. The healthcare system is overburdened because it is underfunded.
If we could get more people to wear masks more often, we would help reduce the burden on the healthcare system. This would make it harder for conservatives to claim public healthcare is failing. That would make it harder to promote privatized healthcare.
Please wear a mask more often.
