We saved 12 🐈 lives this week.
2 feral moms, 10 kittens between them. 2 are albinos.
Built a separate enclosure.
Got them all washed. No fleas! All kittens have colds with stuck shut eyes and plugged noses, requiring repeat cleaning.

Amber, one of our smallest rescues 🐱, nestled into mommy's fluffy chair blanket.
She's so sweet. She greets me at the bottom of the stairs every morning, stands up as tall as she can and implores me to join her for breakfast. 🍵

He's s Kurilian Bobtail. The breed originated in Russia. Rare within the US.
He's my guardian. First thing in the morning when I open the window to the cat flap, he goes out into the kittenclosure to make sure it's all safe for everyone to go out.

The crucible furnace holding molten glass.

Shaping the glass sculpture.
Finalising the shape before cracking off in the annealer to slowly cool to prevent breaking.
Our long-standing Allegany Artisans Studio Tour, on the 18th and 19th, now end up coinciding with No Kings #2. As such, we'll have to be in the glass studio hotshop, as opposed to showing our support.
Rest assured, we do and we'd be there if we could.

Our Winky returned home. Her sister Zot misses her, searching through the house.
Later, as our grief subsides some, we'll go out to our hotshop and blow a glass kittyface urn for her ashes.
Right now, I know we'd not be able to get very far before our vision would be obscured.

Moonlight, our Tuxedo Siberian, crashed on the kitchen floor in front of the refrigerator, wheels in the air as always.
Our HUGO Award creations delivered to WorldCon this week. The signature Hugo Rocket touched down on a carved poplar base of Mount Rainier, surrounded by a blown glass "mountain" - the colors of which echo the greens and whites of the carved mountain contained within.
AND IT LIGHTS UP! A HUGO FIRST
