I really need to commission something when theyβre taking in again. I absolutely *love* the art style.

I'm still chipping away at a new website and blog. Here is a preview of the new logo, and well, a 2021-ish shot of the Aventine, as you don't follow me for logos. :D

I hope the Corps remember this moment when their leadership starts issuing illegal orders.
*Hwhat*?
If if I *was* looking for an alternative to the heartfelt and wonderful Starfleet Academy, they couldnβt be bothered to create the imagery for their *definitely* real show, so why should I be bothered to seek it out and watch?
βI picked a hell of a time to reactivate my accountβ he says in his best Lloyd Bridges impressionβ¦
A one-sheet poster for "The Hunt for Red October." The colors are black and red with white type. At top left is a large three-quarter portrait image of the head of Sean Connery as Captain Marko Ramius, printed in red on a black background. Next to his left cheek, rising out of the red as though rising out of the ocean is a submarine conning tower. The tagline to the right reads, "The hunt is on." The title, top-line stars, and credits are printed in the lower third of the poster against a red background.
Today in 1990, βThe Hunt for Red October,β adapted from insurance salesman Tom Clancyβs bestselling 1984 first novel, opened in theaters across the United States.

As a proud member of the 75-ton Mafia, I love them both already!
Holy shiit lmao
If not Gestapo, why Gestapo-shaped?
And that, right there, is precisely why the Americans routinely get routed or give up when fighting against insurgencies or guerrilla fighters. They refuse to learn this lesson.
Remember that ICE recruits never would have made it through basic.
Something I've been cooking up.

The Concorde-class command cruiser USS Jean-Baptiste Charcot, awaiting final clearance to leave the Sol-system.
Clearance given, the Charcot departs for the Bajor-system in order to traverse the Bajoran wormhole and begin her mission.
Maintaining a geo-stationary orbit in close proximity to Earth Spacedock in order to facilitate last minute personnel transfers and provisioning before departure. In the background, a Yorktown-class cruiser can be seen in the process of transiting the stationβs enormous space doors.
Seen from above, the Concorde-class USS Jean-Baptiste Charcot ably displays the massive starshipβs graceful lines and many large observation decks. Originally designed as a fleet command cruiser, where said decks were meant to facilitate fleet manoeuvres, these decks will make the viewing of planetary bodies and astral phenomena easy for the vesselβs 1250 crew-members.
Set to engage in an unprecedented voyage across the Gamma quadrant, the newly launched Concorde-class USS Jean-Baptiste Charcot will be joined by USS Keeling, fresh from her own recent adventure escorting the flotilla tasked with recovering the long-lost USS Enterprise-B.

Thereβs a coyote under that.
Hereβs me appreciating the attention to detail, no matter how they pulled it off.
I havenβt done an in-universe Trek news blurb in too long. What with the world being what it isβ¦ I gotta get back on my shit damn it!
It helps that Sung Kang is a real car guy, too. Loves S30 Fairlady Zs.
