"Mastering cone 6 glazes" was invaluable to me in this post gerstley borate world, esp in terms of making new glaze bases. Sadly out of print, but my school library had a copy I consulted religiously.

Of course I have to do spout/body experiments. It's hard to say what will fit the form better: straight-sided or rounded body?
Me: okay, which should I work on first, the chambered flute or that two-tiered lamp?

The almost finished teapot. Still gotta sand around the base of the spout to lessen the "bulge" at the joint. Handle opening may be a bit too large & the strap handle a bit too large in diameter. Gonna live with it for a while. #thistleglenpottery #pottersonbluesky #teapot #stoneware #mtlebanonpa
