Can we conceive the emergence and dominance of analytic philosophy as โbureaucratizationโ of philosophy?
I feel like The Utopia of Rules (2015) is the most underrated book of David Graeber. The analysis remains quite relevant and explains how we are โstuckโ in the trichotomy of sovereignty, bureaucracy, and charismatic power, the idea to be developed in his later book with D. Wengrow.
I am now heading to Kyoto to attend the meeting of the American Philosophy Forum of Japan. This yearโs theme is โEmersonian Perfectionism and the Tragic Sense,โ and the keynote lecture will be given by Renรฉ V. Arcilla and Paul Standish.

รtudes sur la dialectique dans Platon et dans Hegel by Paul Janet
Interesting work by Paul Janet (1861). I would love to read an updated version of this book written by some contemporary scholar.
