So many different announcements playing at once at Farringdon, I have no idea what any of them are actually saying
Brilliant reporting. Billionaires ruin everything they touch. www.londoncentric.media/p/asif-aziz-...
Depressing and heartless, straight out of Trump's playbook. Thanks Labour. www.theguardian.com/education/20...

Conan O'Brien Needs A Friend
Of course, if we had a nationwide contactless system which tied discounts/Railcards to it this could literally not happen.
I guess they make more money profiting off mistakes though.
He offered to buy a new ticket there and then but was told no. He rarely gets the train. Let's see whether they actually want to rinse him for the Β£5 saving.
Easier than going after people who deliberately travel without a ticket, I guess.
Friend I was with yesterday had a Railcard that expired in January - complete accident. The revenue inspector took his name and address.
Said he won't be prosecuted because 'they don't have time for that stuff'.
The piece of paper says he could be.
Just saw another van driver beep at pedestrians to get out of their way. Convinced driving a van should need a special licence like with HGVs.
Van driver just turned in to a side road without stopping and used his horn to get pedestrians crossing out of his way.
When I raised my hand at him like 'wtf' he had enough time to stop, start shouting inside his van (I could not hear) and then flip me off.
Deranged behaviour.
Honestly who knows. Clearly too big though!
Tried the Lidl emergency puncture repair sealant spray...
High court injunction sign posted on gate by Luton airport
This sign by Luton Airport says you could be sent to prison if you go in airport land to protest about fossil fuels or the environment (other issues not mentioned)
And why are there two different things with the contactless symbol on? Mind boggling
Also, if people need to scan a QR code for instructions on how to buy tickets to Underground stations, maybe your system is just shit
C2c ticket machine with a sticker that says "This machines is card only"
This machines is card only
No! Unfortunately that is the designated combined bicycle/wheelchair space
Interior of a C2C class 357 train. Floor is a speckled pattern, colourways are green, purple, and turquoise/cyan. The toilet door is wrapped in a photograph of a pier/wooden structure on a beach. The seats look faded and scuffed. There is dirt on grating by the floor, which is itself stained.
Everything about this train interior is so gross
Several cases of Trichophyton mentagrophytes type VII/VIII have been reported in the UK, especially in gay men.
DMs open if anyone has been affected - I'd like to talk to you. #JournoRequest

Exactly
Now, the right-wing press report with glee that Starmer is apparently ruining the special relationship over Iran.
Trump already ruined it.
Last month Trump said this about NATO troops, despite 457 UK soldiers dying in Afghanistan:
"We've never needed them. We have never really asked anything of them.
"They'll say they sent some troops to Afghanistan... and they did, they stayed a little back, a little off the front lines."
Do not understand how Travelodge thinks commenting that the correct procedures were followed is at all resassuring to anyone else considering staying in one of their hotels.
I worked for Travelodge and we literally weren't allowed to confirm if someone was even staying at the hotel if asked. Massive failure of this poor victim. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
