This doesn't mean Ali gets tossed away. She's still a character in my gaggle of them but I'll take to being a kobold from now on. I'll still draw bugs, I'll still draw Gremlins, I'll still draw rats, and all sorts of other kinds of species I've taken too. Gremlins especially, of couse.

In all these years, I've always drawn her in various forms but she's stuck around and represented me in different ways. In that sense, she's less my main OC and more my fursona of sorts and I think it's time to let that happen. She's still both but more fursona than OC.

I've been debating this for a while. I had a realization a month ago regarding Rory. She's my oldest OC in terms of when I made her; all the way back in my early days of high school.

One for the matrix, one to turn on the kobold energy

Some quick art - Even a wyvern kobold such as Rory needs medicine; but for what? Whose to say.

Turns out it's not me drawing too much or using the mouse too much that's hurting my right wrist

I'm sleeping on top of it without realizing it. I bought a brace to mitigate that at night, so I stop crushing my hand

My wrist hasn't been happy lately but I'm making up for it by drawing smaller, quicker things. The KoDrone stuff can wait, smiles first. Rory has a nice one, the best lil kobold she is.

More design work is to come as well as full ref sheets and mayhaps a base people can use if there's enough interest.

Cameras do not move but can pivot up and down. Not side to side, however, as the wide angle lens of each provides good enough coverage.

Their main battery is provided by a pack on their back which can last an average of ~200 hrs under heavy workloads. A backup transmitter is also attached there.

Three digits on each hand. All joints use basic hydraulic motors instead of synthetic muscles. The latter was much too costly.

Vision is provided by a pair of basic 120 degree wide angle cameras. At base, Kodrones get a visor but corp spec get a faceplate that adds two small sensors for IR and UV.

Design Page 1 for KoDrones with some basics laid out.

They have detachable heads and a nano-mesh skin which provides both a soft, plush outside that is durable and resistant enough to defend the parts behind it.

Forgot to say - it's about a 50/50 split between uploads and AIs so not every KO-B0 seen is someone who decided on becoming a one. (Gotta figure out a name for them that isn't "Kobold Drone" perhaps KoDrone)

The retail ones are sold barebones (as seen above) and a whole range of upgrades and what-not are sold by KoCorp (for a price). Naturally, a lot of third parties have stepped in to offer cheaper parts and repair work for both specs. DIY is big with Kobold drones.

A person can pay to be uploaded to a retail spec or, if they don't have the money, sign a contract to be uploaded into a corp spec and have to work it off.
Also, both specs are fully customizable. The corp one's because each customer might have different needs on a massive scale.

After a quick iteration and some advice, I nailed down a design I like to two models: Corp and Retail. The former is for corporations and the latter is for mass use.
