"Groups can enter together using one payment method."
This is bad messaging, because each person needs a separate fare payment method to count toward their own fare cap.
I reported a broken don't walk sign on my corner a month ago by phone to 311, it still hasn't been fixed yet.
Is the summary online somewhere to read?
This assumes the 10-trip card will actually be coming back, but the Port Authority shows nothing but disdain for AirTrain riders.
MetroCard technology was obsolete, and the backend ran on OS/2. The problem is OMNY as a replacement is missing key features of MetroCard, from balance and transfer status after tapping, to unlimited time based passed (policy decision, not technology limited).
My final 30-day MetroCard ran out of time last week, and I've already not taken discretionary trips because of the weekly fare cap, and general disdain of OMNY.
You can have the balance transferred to an OMNY card at a customer service center.
OMNY is such garbage, and they need to bring back a fixed duration unlimited pass option.
How do people with disabilities, strollers, and wheelchairs enter, and what about emergency egress?
Only NYCT employees should be wearing this...
Blood.
Still hoping to one day get a remaster or re-release of the best FMV game, Wirehead.
Surprised the regime didn't order them destroyed when they were taken down.
I had a paper Day Pass printed from the old TVMs, so nobody was scanning it to see what trains I was using for any kind of metrics.
I actually found the Day Pass really handy a couple weeks ago. Jamaica to Carle Place for The Container Store, then to Hicksville for IKEA, back to Jamaica for the subway, then later back to Rockville Centre for vegan pizza, then to Penn Station.
What is it?
... what's the budget for this?
There should be fixed pricing, like zone based commuter rail fares.
I saw the NYT article about that stove last year, and passed it along to my coop board.
I'd rather have an induction stove, but my building was built in 1955. I imagine at some point the city will force an electrical supply upgrade, and conversion, resulting in some huge assessment.
The Eagle Team was posted on the corner where there's a high school and a community college, on a day classes weren't in session for both. I sent in a complaint about how it was a complete waste of resources, and never even got a reply.
This article claims she volunteered?
www.fox9.com/news/federal...
"The backstory: Le volunteered to help the U.S. Attorneyβs Office last month as habeas petitions started to flood into federal court.
She previously worked as an attorney for ICE in immigration court."
"After leading the OMNY rollout" isn't a good way to sell this.
Started my final 30-day unlimited ride MetroCard cycle today. Beginning March 4, I have to start using OMNY.
Unlimited bus and subway access is fare capped to approx. two hours of minimum wage pay per week. The money is better spent on more service, and expansion.
The cost of living crisis in this city has always been housing, not transit.
Stop using the statistic that 95% of sheltered bus stops have been cleared. Unsheltered bus stops are the vast majority of bus stops.
None of my reports to 311 for not clearing snow have had any updates, days later, even though DSNY is supposed to respond within 24 hours.
