My pet theory is that a lot of Labour had their brains cooked during Covid from the various WhatsApp groups they’re in, marinated in Twitter discourse for too long, and they just cannot see what they’ve become. Maybe this will be a wake up call, but I think the electorate have already left them.
Goodwin’s whole ‘the progressives were told how to vote’ thing is very weird. Who told them? Who else would they vote for? Certainly not Reform. People were told to vote for every party by every party. What people do with their vote is their business.
