The iPod mini I bought finally came in and the first thing I put on there was my own lofi albums and I couldn't help but cry because as a kid I was too poor for an iPod, and grew up in an environment where being a musician was a pipe dream 😭

Well, I managed to come up with the names of the remaining Elden Ring classes to add to my mod. I'm not gonna share them because I think the anticipation is worth it, but I'm gonna run these by people I know who play ER for a final naming adjustment and then just work on one class at a time.

So yeah, this is Classes Expanded. Currently it only adds 2 new classes, but I'm working on more and would like to add one per DLC weapon type. Each has a unique image, thoughtfully balanced stats, and equipment that tries for lore.

Now we're rolling! Way overdue but I organized all my files lol, and wrote a script that mirrors my photos/docs/etc and programming projects from my SSD to my HDD as a backup

And the script gets automatically ran everyday at 6am, almost guaranteed I'll be asleep at this time lol. Set and forget :3

All so I can try and find this file. I end up needing to write a bunch of python scripts to analyze the SSD dump and compare sector segments to a save’s file signature. This required me to go look at other projects that handle saves to get a better idea of how it all works…

Well, I forgot Seamless Co-op saves aren’t backed up by steam cloud. That’s right, installed Linux without backing it up. So… I decide to whip the data recovery tools out.

I’ve spent the last 8 hours learning testdisk, photorec, and ultimately how to read hex dumps.

So… an update on the guy I did all the Minecraft stuff for.

Today I was making the big change from Windows to Linux. That meant backing up all my data. One important fact is that boy and I have done an Elden Ring seamless co-op run together, and we’re working on second.
