Feels like a big opportunity, especially given a move from focus on things to focus on experiences. Kind of surprising that nobody is doing it though, which makes me think it must be harder than it seems?
Every year I buy a bunch of gift cards to local restaurants as gifts for family members. Every year I’m surprised that only like 10-20% of the local restaurants I find have a way to purchase a gift card directly on the website, so for every 15 sites I visit, I’m getting like 1 or 2 gift cards.

Yes! I think they might technically be for advent (it’s a much bigger thing here than in the US). They were so pretty!
I gotchu: spaetzl at the market, kaisercharrn (translated as “emporer’s madness”, like a shredded pancake for dessert), and pumpkin risotto from the Michelin starred airport hotel restaurant (I got stuck an extra night).

Just landed in Munich, Santa was there, and the bag handlers (elves, I assume?) put these Santa chocolates in the handle of each one. I’ve never been so delighted in my life.
Listening was very on-brand this year. Everywhere has been my top jam lately. Cake forever. Being Dead was my fave band discovery at SXSW. Loved Texas Hold ‘Em. Taylor remains queen.
