This is the kind of story I wanted to see. The magic and dragons are cool, but seeing the human drama was what drew me in to the original series in the first place. Really enjoying it.

Had an idea for a drybrush pallet. Using gyroid infill to let the parts sink a little bit. I think I needed it a bit more sparse. Here’s the vision and I’ll share when it’s a bit further along.

Got a new camera for photographing minis and I am using Darktable for editing. Gonna be a learning process but it’s not bad.

The most surreal thing about living abroad has been seeing kids in public without their parents. Playgrounds as a mixed space. Schools without police and fences. America is extremely backward when it comes to public safety.

Each semester I go in my classroom and I try to figure out what we would use to block the doors, if it would be safe to crawl out the windows, where we could hide if there was a mass shooter in campus. It’s such an indictment of this country how we have normalized these preventable tragedies.
