I played through TTS recently for the first time and the whole game's colour palette feels so dull. Not in the grimy, secret nuclear facility kinda dull either. Just no real differentiation between areas. The prison cell was the worst offender imo

Really makes you feel disposable, too. If I don't make this hip funny cartoon of Mario and Sonic dabbing for the 12th time, then some other poor shmuck will. I left YT stuff feeling burned out and hollow.

If you don't know your own worth, someone else will dictate that for you. Likely in their favour.

I started my career with a lot of YT work and this thread is some solid advice for starting up. Don't repeat my mistakes and put yourself through hell because you think it's the only way to "make it". The "struggling artist" mindset is BS. Respect yourself. It took me too long to learn that.

That looks clean! Tau vehicles just have so many huge, smooth panels that I'm worried about if I did it by hand

I need to get an airbrush soon. Trying to get my combat patrol ready and I don't think I can do a Devilfish by hand

I've seen a lot of cool subtle hexagonal patterns on some Tau vehicles and I really like the look. Gonna make a stencil for it
