Original plans for the invasion forces for the Iraq war were 500K soldiers. But Rumsfeld didn’t want that many because then everybody in America would know somebody serving. So it was 250K instead.

We’re fighting the last war as usual. Strategically, our ballistic missiles are no match for their far more numerous cheaply made drones. The US is at war with Iran. Iran is at war with the US economy and US hegemony. Presently they have the edge.
