Was well aware of how much they accomplished while watching S1, but it hits especially hard when you’re preparing for a 30 min Q&A and you know it’s nowhere near enough time to do the multitude of moving storylines and stellar craftsmanship justice. Could have spent hours celebrating this show.

One of my favorite things about Netflix’s #OnePiece is how it exudes joy. The show’s playfulness and energy is off the charts, and that makes it a true treat and delight to watch. Sitting down with this cast in real life has that same exact vibe.
I always have a lot I want to ask about during a Collider Ladies Night interview, but with a filmography like Jessica Henwick's? I coulda gone on for HOURS.

Maggie Gyllenhaal whipped up a wild and daring narrative, amassed a team of top-tier artists, and they all came ready to swing for the fences. I’ve never seen anything quite like The Bride!, and that’s one of my favorite reactions to have to a movie.
Does the narrative totally come together? Nope! But for me, it still works because every ounce of the movie is sizzling with creativity, intention and life.
And you probably already know this from the promotional material alone, but yes, the hair, makeup and costumes — stunners. Couldn’t get enough of the design of this world.
The movie is also dripping in mesmerizing craftsmanship. Per usual, Hildur Guðnadóttir’s score is a standout, and I was consistently dazzled by Lawrence Sher’s visuals.
(I’m also obsessed with the fact that The Bride! is hitting theaters in the midst of Hamnet’s awards season run. Seeing Buckley give every ounce of herself to two wildly different characters in such a short span is really something else.)
#TheBride is my kind of big swing storytelling. It rocks two ferocious and fearless lead performances from Jessie Buckley and Christian Bale.
