I'm listening to the latest episode of Pod Save the World. Great updates and takes, as usual. But isn't it time to stop referring to the "war" in Gaza? The word "war" implies two parties battling it out. It's really just military assault and occupation, isn't it?
We need to make sure that our American overlords don't drag uns into a war with China AND that Labor doesn't do a dirty deal with them behind closed doors.

Blind Freddy could see this was always a sop to the US. It kinda worked (mostly for the US) when there was an assumption the US would always be our friends. Now, though, that assumption seems foolish in the extreme.
