I had to remove "meta acquires moltbook" from my dead internet theory black mirror episode script because the other writers agreed it was a little too on the nose

how it feels being allocated on a project in a super locked down environment, where I won’t have access to any coding agent at all

Can AI agents build real Stripe integrations? We built a benchmark to find out State-of-the-art LLMs can solve many scoped coding tasks, but can they execute end-to-end software projects? To find out, we built the Stripe integration benchmark: an agentic test of real API integra...

New business model: go on social media and say (eg) "LLMs will never be able to use statistics to fact-check financial journalism."

When someone pipes up "No, that's easy. I can make a Claude skill!" I reply "Nah. No way."

Then when they prove me wrong, I copy the skill. Step 3 is profit.

and the reconciliation loop is so, so expensive. it’s really hard to justify to other teams that are not immediately bought-in into the core idea of cross plane

26.02.2026 18:57 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

after a year with crossplane, I can say it’s really just a pile of scripts written in YAML. once you get a into a situation that’s not the green path, you are in hell trying to figure out how to bring things in a healthy state again

GitHub, Vercel, et al. seems to be catching up that you can sell "AI integration" by just feeding an EXAMPLES\.md to a coding agent.

Who had the idea to render the Claude's plan in a bottom sheet component in the desktop app?

I don’t think Amazon expects to beat Claude at coding. It’s just another tool to bundle for enterprise customers at a discount. Those customers will then force their engineering teams to use it top-down. You don’t need a great product to do that!

everyone's talking about their teams like they were at the peak of efficiency and bottlenecked by ability to produce code

here's what things actually look like

- your org rarely has good ideas. ideas being expensive to implement was actually helping 1/4

A four-panel comic strip. Panel 1: A person reads a book titled β€œIf Anyone Builds It Everyone Dies” labeled as an NY Times Best Seller. Panel 2: They daydream, blushing, imagining a cheerful sun-like mascot character (resembling Claude’s logo) holding their hand. Panel 3: Still blushing, they excitedly hold up a phone showing the Claude AI chat interface. Panel 4: The Claude sun mascot cheerfully says β€œYou’re absolutely right!” while the person sits beside it looking tired and unimpressed, holding a coffee mug β€” the fantasy not matching the reality.

There’s little value of only using one model or coding agent. It’s such a new field and the current abstractions are not good (see β€œskills” vs β€œslash commands” vs β€œprompt templates” vs β€œMCP”). Experiment, experiment, experiment and make use of any free tier under the sun

29.01.2026 23:40 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

I don’t trust any β€œI started using model X and it’s so much better” posts. Once you get used to a model, you are very aware of its limitations, and once you switch, the new model may handle these specific limitations better, but has other limitations that you are not aware of

Kotlin 2.3.0 is just absolutely broken for me to use on IntelliJ, even in the latest version. I Want To Be Off The Mr. Kotlin Ride
