WFLT adventure accidentally used some old versions of encounters, we also saw that Nab was in. we'll clean those out

yeah just visual, it's 500 Glory
check your glory
that's basically just a PB&J
Legends of Runeterra launcher but my face is blocked by the logo while Eric's isn't at all
i got Mike Wazowski'd
1&2) not intentional! mel's, thresh's, and the SB relics will be in the glory store this patch
3) no real reason she wasn't in this one that i know about, maybe a scheduling thing or something. but she was delighted to hear that she was missed :)
pro tour players, ex-wotc devs, and a walrus
i don't know what cards are in Prophecy! no one should! stop asking me!
the thing i didn't realize about becoming a card game designer is that every internal "for fun" TCG event i join would be sweaty. they plucked my timmy/johnny ass out of a 6 player commander pod and now i'm in a rotisserie draft with pro tour players and ex-wotc devs
"on this topic" lol
i'll file a bug with QA, ty for the report!
ok fine
magic made a card named Skateboard and, despite both being legal mechanics, it's neither kicked nor flipped. smh
out of curiosity, what would you expect from each game for a crossover event like that? we already share art and universe, so something like the current TFT event where we pay homage to some of their mechanics?
because live games don't really do credits, my first industry credit in 12 years is for Riftbound lol
forever living under the shadow of The Cooler Brian K Card Gamer though
SB Kindred's 1 & 3* create Beast's Frenzy, so once you have at least their 1*, you have the amount of access to Beast's Frenzy that we intended. While this means you can't level them up at 0*, players spend so little time playing at 0* that we decided not to give weight to it when finalizing design
i was so ready to write this off as a random toxic gamer post until i read the username
how dare you, it goes in recycling at least
oh right, my hot take: where myst
anytime i see game rankings i think about that tweet where someone posted a numbered list of the star wars movies in chronological order and people went apeshit in the replies
(www.pcgamer.com/games/the-to...)
those champs are more alluring for designers because they are more interesting problems to chew on; i don't think players actually like consistent FTK champs so much as they like quick rewards. also players are smart and would def break current Fiora w/ relics + even the weakest deck/powers
a chatter asking if i'm single on our live AMA
LoR players tryna get me in trouble with the wife smh

our eng team seems determined to prove that nothing is ever too complicated to fix and so far they've been proven right, but realistically it'll be hard to prioritize this anytime soon
we wanted this as well, but encountered technical difficulties as OG Kindred's marks are tangled up in being associated with that card's cardID. new kindred's mark system is more generic/robust, but we can't just slap that on old kindred freely.
daw appreciate it! sent this compliment to the chefs :D
yeah it's a rough anchor to break from. examples are in the realm of current expensive/long conditional outputs: ledros, watcher, warmother's call, etc. could also see it more like a planeswalker ult: units cost 1 for rest of game. huge power jumps but you still play it out
if you come at me about the american date format i will tell you that us in the states are not doin so hot right now so please just let us have this
happy pythagorean triple day! (9/16/25)
"every triangle is a love triangle when you love triangles"

oh yeah don't worry, we also don't want to ship boring stuff. we can tolerate one (1) OP space dragon but that's it
liking them as support champs highlights how the concept is really best in small doses: a rare dream that you occasionally pull off next to a more robust game plan
also balance would be extremely critical: too difficult and you won't even try for it, so the dream is completely lost. too easy and you're back to that one note feeling. that balance has to scale for all adventure difficulties
