if the ny times is garbage the washington post is about as interesting as cbs news.

I have subscriptions to Wired and New Yorker that just auto-renew. I very rarely read their articles, but I don't ever feel motivated enough to actually cancel my subscription.
The Guardian is the coolest news org, paywall-wise. Why don't they innovate, and create a EZ-Pass for news, and run it for other high quality, reader centric pubs. We pay $1 per article read. That's how I as a reader want to do it. I don't like subscriptions. www.theguardian.com

Interesting possibility, hooking up WordPress to Bluesky.

I understand that there are a lot of folks on the left who instinctively recoil from religious language, and with good reason given its use by the right.
But please listen to this, and focus on how he's trying to realign "Christian values" so they align with and advance progressive policy goals.
we're way past where we were in vietnam. at that time the protests were about the draft mainly. there was no sense that the vietnam war would become a world war. where the iraq war, only a week old, is already becoming one. and many of the affected countries have nukes.
I'm old enough to remember protests of the Vietnam War.
As a boomer, I hear all the time about how much better subsequent generations are. I sincerely doubt that.
But here's your chance to prove it.
