I’d be on board if the plan included capping or removing the obscene interstate highway that separates the Kennedy Center from the rest of the city.

But it wasn’t in the Sit Room. It was in a draped off ballroom at Mar a Lago. Every intel agency the world knows what was said.
What she believes is irrelevant. What’s relevant is that more Ukrainians will die because of the callous incompetence of Trump and his minions.
So it's OK for Putin to assist our enemies in killing Americans and our allies, so long as the assistance isn't very effective. MAGA logic.
I assume we will see footage of him hard at work after his death.

The Western Romans would raise the $50 Billion and fight another war. The Eastern Romans would bribe their enemies for $1B/year for 50 years. Guess which empire lasted 1,000 years longer?
It’s cute that he think time is the only obstacle to his learning Spanish or Portuguese, and not his stunning stupidity and laziness.
This is the reasoning Hitler used to justify invading his neighbors. The Japanese told themselves the same thing to justify Pearl Harbor.
So woke
Huh. I thought we were friends.
After he fires her, is she required to un-do the MAGA looksmaxxing surgery?
Thank you, @united.com. Please, please @amtrak.com follow their lead.
If the US is torpedoing Iranian warships in international waters, then the US is in a state of war, and that requires an act of Congress. It’s that simple.
After Trump abandoned them a year ago.
I hold NYT to its own self-professed standards for truth and accuracy, which it has consistently failed to deliver in covering Trump.
Have you read anything in the Times for the past decade? Just start with the everyday sane-washing as they edit out and clean up the insantity and incoherence of his public statements. For example, read the NYTimes coverage of the SOTU speech, and then actually watch it.
Is @nytimes.com seriously finger-wagging over pre-emptive instutitional surrender to the Great Orange One? I guess they don't have mirrors at 620 Eighth Avenue.
”Special Military Operation” was already taken.
He knows it's a roast, right?
If by hand-shaking, you mean Melania tried to choke him, then yes.
If the US really wanted to harm Russia, it would be nice to help the one people 🇺🇦 actually fighting Russia.
Also, you might point out: blatantly in violation of the US Constitution, US law, international laws and treaties the US has ratified, and the UN Charter.
Should we hold our breath waiting for any legacy media to point out in bold letters that starting a war without Congressional authorization is unconstitutional and illegal? It’s about the most impeachable thing a President can do.
With the timeworn GOP solution: assume without evidence that there‘s 10% fraud, so cut the budget by 10%. Problem solved.
The MAGA position isn’t even logical, but no surprise there. Why would ”totally blue“ states need to cheat? The voters there are already voting for Dems for House, Senate, and President. Even if they did cheat to inflate the results, it wouldn’t change the outcome of the elections.
I was about to say the same: I get a little thrill every time a new train pulls in.
You just cannot help yourselves, can you? It was show, alright, but not the one you‘re describing.
If I scroll back to the @nytimes.com coverage of the July 19 2025 statement, will I find it reported skeptically, framed with the truth, or even (heaven forfend) reported as an outright lie? Without even looking, I'm guessing it's going to be a straight-up stenography exercise, "Trump claims...".

Russian Revolution
Chinese Revolution
