I was just reading about her in *American Gothic* by J. A. Weinstock ... and was intrigued.
cast iron skillet holds four eggs in the process of being cooked "over easy"; one is a double-yolked egg! Yolk colors are rich orange. Pan is black. Whites are half-cooked.
