Parents see it as investing in education. I don’t know what my life would be like in public ed. I’ve taught in the public system, & prefer doing so, but as a weird autistic kid with Marfan’s stature, my private school system gave me a sanctuary to find safety in a place that valued intellect & skill

Ranked Choice Voting! With a few safeguards for vulnerable communities (not that they’ve any now), it would be a real game changer for the US and is probably the only way the US truly becomes a representative democracy. Even the conservatives where I live are left of most democrats.

Fact that just a handful did cross is a huge testament 2 how broadly unpopular it was.

Sadly this is where US is. History shows its sad trek.

Instead it is a broad coalition of people who acknowledge that the world operates according to reality.
Democrats are more likely to follow more socially, and these days more fiscally responsible policies, but expecting 💯 would be odd in 🇺🇸 system.

Cos they don’t want to change their political views. They just want to acknowledge that up is up and down is down, that facts are facts etc.

The GOP goes from far right (libertarian/Maga to centrist). While centre right dems cross over, centrist GOP & some libertarians should get a backbone and vote with integrity with dems.

They should be acting with integrity regardless of party. Doing best for 🇺🇸
