I think adhd in women is so understudied and under researched. We all need to get louder and more defiant to be good advocates for ourselves and hopefully sway some of these 'gonna let it go until she's completely broken' doctor types.

I am sorry your doctor isn't receptive atm, and that you and your mom struggle with it. I hope you can both find the support you need. Women often overlooked and brushed aside by medical professionals (even other women). I find that so hard to understand.
