That is amazing.
That is amazing.
Absolutely!
Thatβs dark.
Itβs pretty gorgeous isnβt it?
I see what you did there.
Oooh thatβs most pleasant
Ah. Poutine. Yum.
Oh me too. Such a relief!
Will do!!!
I was pretty bad with the first one. Gulp.
Ugh. The first one was bad enough. Iβve got to book the second one.
Oh that is so well played. Well done.
The trick I use is to walk slowly backwards along the path when I hear one close. Might look a bit daft but those naughty skulkers love to cross the path behind you and surprise you from somewhere else. Youβll get a much better chance of seeing one flying, albeit with associated falling over risks.

Sorry missed alt text. Screenshot from the Merlin app showing an image of a Great Black-Backed Gull as bird of the day.
That moment when you realise that not opening your Merlin app leaves your bird of the day in quantum superposition, and only when you open your app does the bird of the day become observed, thereby collapsing its wave function.

I agree. Half the fun of visiting somewhere is learning some of the language and giving it a try!
As I had yesterday!
Totally! Didnβt watch Bad Bunny yet but for me itβs the joy of watching Eurovision National Selections.
Fantastic. Iβm slowly working through the John Pertwee series on iPlayer (my first Doctor), then on to Tom!
Itβs been so long since Iβve seen these. Will have to rewatch!
