Easy follow π
Magnificent - except for that shrill sound effect used on the aircraft early on in the film. Exeter and his group of orange-tanned friends always reminded of Oompa Loompas.

The Fear (1995)
Dir. Vincent Robert
A group of high schoolers played by actors in their mid 30s get terrorised by a creepy wooden murder-mannequin on a trip to a cabin in the mountains.

I love how Lee rocks up in this for a pay cheque scene that could be cut out without affecting the plot in any way π€£
I was surprised, too.

Have you seen Train to Busan (2016)? That's what you call a modern zombie movie masterpiece!

This one is due a rewatch! Scheduling it right now!
Nah, I was being mean. It's absolutely fine. Cheap, but it does exactly what it says on the tin and is a perfectly entertaining zombie flick.

Flight of the Living Dead (2007)
Dir. Scott Thomas
When a shady experiment turns passengers into zombies at 30,000 feet, the cabin becomes a flying buffet of panic, screaming, and very questionable in-flight dining options. Yes, it's as bad as it sounds.

Ethics and morality are at the heart of Star Trek and always have been. What has largely put me off of the Kurtzman era material are the retcons and use of current-day venacular, that and the trailer that I saw in which a cadet said she'd eaten her comm badge!
Hmm. You may have tempted me to give it a chance, then!
I haven't dipped my toe into that series yet. Honestly, it looks quite poor, based on the clips I've seen, and Kurtzman-trek doesn't have a great track record, IMO. It's all rather dumbed down.
As a massive DS9 fan, I was over the moon when you described Combs as having played "The Wayouns" - plural. Very nice!
Showed this to my 16 year old son recently. It was a proud moment.
Damn, I'd have been down for this πΆ

Fortress (1992)
Dir. Stuart Gordon
Christopher Lambert and his mullet attempt a prison break from a high-tech death pen run by an evil CEO with surveillance on everything, including your intestines.

Yeah, I'm watching the DVD now, and it looks surprisingly sharp. Haven't seen it for a few years, forgot what a delight it is!

Crank (2006)
Dir. Mark Neveldine & Brian Taylor
Jason Statham gets poisoned with a βdonβt-stop-moving-or-you-dieβ drug and responds by turning Los Angeles into a one-man adrenaline theme park.

Damn. Your collection must be crazy by now! π€£

Body Parts w/director's commentary

After losing his arm in a car crash, a psychologist receives a transplant that comes with some VERY unexpected side effects πͺππͺ
Looking forward to hearing what Mr. Red has to say.
