A scary experience. Car cut out & died on a busy motorway - no time or space to pull left to the filter lane & hard shoulder. Just me & the dog in a car while traffic thundered past on both sides. Hazards on & 999 call later .. huge thank you to #KentPolice & #HighwaysAgency & Recovery person. Phew

A blustery walk on the marshes. We spotted the familiar, cross-faced, hoppity stance of a Little Owl in the dark, corner rafters of a barn, & were accosted by a shouty Sedge Warbler. Such a lot of attitude for the size! Hawthorn awash with ripening fruit and Yellow Toadflax lifted the day’s colours.
