But I'm also not expecting the average person to use or even understand other security tools like email masking or VMs for everyday activities considering a lot of people still don't know what the S in HTTPS means and why it's important.
Yeah, obviously if you're using one and still give your SSN to a site it's useless. Lol. But a lot of people tend to think they're like the main or only security measure. I've been seeing way too many sponsors on yt that boast about how "x browser has a free VPN that can hide everything" or whatnot.
