Great report from @jacksonwryan.com about this mess. To show you all how frustrating this has been -- ClickOut Media's GamesHub still lists me as an active "Games & Tech Editor", and I'm placed alongside their fake AI 'writers'. I've asked them to stop, but these sites are desperate for credibility.
Great reporting at Aftermath for this one. The destruction of GamesHub has been… hard, for everyone involved. Absolutely fucking sucks what has became of a site I started to feel at home at, even if it was only for a while.

Mate our youngest got mouth cancer last year and it has just been harrowing. We are hopeful the treatments have miraculously got it early but it’s in the back of my mind every single day. Meanwhile she jumps up on the shelf, sots on our router and stares, purely to stir us 😭
Yeah that’s it. We’re still without battery but the idea of not having to pay for fuel anymore is so damn enticing

It is a good desert pizza topping! Not sure if this is a worldwide thing but in aus theres plenty of places that do Nutella (choc hazelnut spread) pizzas, and they can include banana, strawberry, icing sugar, a few other things sometimes

Tonight I watched Flight For Freedom (1943). There’s a lot about it that’s “of its time”, but I was surprised at how hooked I was throughout and how invested I was in the ending. Uses Amelia Earhart and WW2 backdrop for its story. Even 80+ years on, a great film is a great film.
Everyone out here all hype for PS games, but I’m like… Nic Cage Spider-Man?! Hell yeah

So, just went through my wishlist to count - 57 games released in Jan 2026 that look quite cool. Think I’m going to need to start doing monthly roundups to keep up with these releases this year
If you haven’t tried it, Joplin is pretty good! Open source so you can host yourself or sync through Dropbox. I had a hard time with the collapse of Evernote but this has been a great replacement
