A pumpkin patch field with the shell of an old car as prop. Hay bales decorated with an array of pumpkins sit next to the car and a “driver” behind the wheel inside, probably stuffed with hay. Tall cornstalks and a row of deciduous trees in the background. A warm autumn scene.
I stopped for corn. Found a pumpkin patch. A small boy told me he’s going to find his perfect pumpkin somewhere out there. Autumn.

I read an article beginning with ‘oh we know you probably won’t read this’. Kinda cheap, I thought, then read on. Attention span stuff. Encouraging to read with more pause/depth/investment. Yes, ok. Then it declared ‘for Gen X’ and I don’t know the boundaries. An invitation into exclusion.🪶

Early morning sounds can seem imaginary. And I was thinking of that soggy hike in Ireland. It was near home though and the purple bell was around the neck of a friendly brown dog. Apparently I carried the password so the #bellwether licked his ok. I followed him up and around.🪶
