I’m planning to remake/swap out parts of this cosplay before the next con I wear her to (fabric on the way from @dangerousladies.ca 👀) and make a few adjustments to the top. After 20+ years of wanting to cosplay her, I’m so happy I finally am. 🥹

I've been trying to figure out why FF7 Remake's and Rebirth's soundtracks aren't very memorable compared to the original. Right now the only thing I can come up with is that, while beautiful, the music is too complicated?

It's weird, as the OSTs for both are some of my most listened to.

Oh yeah, I still think the empathy and rage expressed in the first elevator ride is one of the best pieces of storytelling in games ever that sets up the rest of the game being cathartic, too.

Listening to RATM is also something I find cathartic when I don’t have time to play a game like Doom.

I really think this is the most impactful scene in God of War: Ragnarok. @santamonicastudio.bsky.social, Ryan Hurst, and Christopher Judge really hit it out of the park with the writing and acting here and deliver a message that everyone should take to heart.

It helps I’m trans myself, so getting other trans and LBGTQ+ activists to realize that being black is a discrimination multiplier when being trans is a bit easier for me than some others.

It’s something I have to actively catch myself on and what you said is really important. I’m not perfect but I can strive to be better, and other white leftists need to least *try*. Instead many get offended, but I’ve been able to get a few to realize how fucked black trans folk are, for example.

I couldn’t help it since well, it had some important things to say about the importance of Ben’s roles.
