I really don’t understand the points you all think you’re making. My point is we should be banning people like Sam Altman and having more responsible people figuring out what the tech is and how/if it can be used in responsible ways to benefit people.

Interestingly, there are ways responsible people are trying to stop the ecological issues (Finland data centers that heat the city) or companies like Extropic who trying to create more efficient chips that require a fraction of the energy
