I would love to see a roguelike that embraces input randomness. Show me *all* the stuff I'm going to get if I make choice A or choice B.

And after like 5 failed runs in a row, even with Slay the Spire or Balatro, I start thinking, "isn't there something better I can do with my time?"

But my level of skill is such that, regardless of how much I play and how many playthroughs I watch, whether I have a good run or not really comes down to the combination of cards I luck into.

Maybe it's a skill issue. Maybe it's because I'm bad at them. I see screenshots of people getting exponential scores all the time, so I'm sure it's not just that I'm unlucky.

I've long suspected that I'm not a fan of roguelikes.

I like Slay the Spire and Balatro, but I like them *in spite* of the fact they're roguelikes. Their gameplay outweighs what I find annoying about roguelikes.

Daylight Saving Time is increasingly hard to notice when my digital devices are like, "What? Nothing happened. We know what time it is."

And my stove is left blinking and screaming, "IT HAPPENED! TIME SHIFTED UNNATURALLY! THEY'RE ALL LYING! ONLY I KNOW! ONLY I REMEMBER!"

I dreamt last night that one human has to stay awake between 2am and 3am when the clocks move forward for everyone else to make sure nothing happens.
