I've noticed a lot more of the people in my life starting to talk about weight loss again. It felt like it "fell out of fashion" for a bit, but in the ozempic era it has come back in full swing. It's disheartening to see as a fat person, especially one who enjoys fitness but has no weight loss goals
The best peach I ever had was from a fruit stand on the side of the road that was selling the ones too ripe to travel. It was "probably should have worn a bib" juicy & I will forever be chasing that high. Knowing how to choose good fruit helps. I thought I hated mangoes for so long..... I was wrong

Last week I made the choice to find a new job for my mental health. Instead of dragging myself to a place that made me wanna scream I am sitting at home, surrounded by my pets, planning for a new start :)
The last movie I saw Hrithik Roshan in was "Bang Bang", a movie about a man using his good looks & a gun to defy the laws of both science & man, so I feel like he has a "type" :p
I feel this in my soul. Last year I had such motivation to draw all month, but this year I've been so drained by work that I haven't drawn much :s fingers crossed we can both get some drawing done this weekend 🤞
lots of buds ask 'chuck how do you maintain such a positive outlook?' i think practice of gratitude is different for all, so looking for a kind of quick antidote that will rewire your whole brain is rarely the trot. many small steps. its called a practice for a reason. still, maybe my story can help

Contrary to popular belief the biggest beginner's roadblock to art isn't even technical skill it's frustration tolerance, especially in the age of social media. It hurts and the frustration is endless but you must build the frustration tolerance equivalent to a roach's capacity to survive a nuclear explosion. That's how you build on the technical skill. Throw that "won't even start because I'm afraid it won't be perfect" shit out the window. Just do it. Just start. Good luck.

Definitely allowed & actually a great option for when you get hit with art block. I did one last year & it was an absolute treat :)
