A ★★½ review of The Plague (2025) I enjoyed the coming of age aspects of this one, but the horror just didn’t really work for me.  I think maybe the elevated horror/metaphor flicks don’t work for me.

I get what it was going for and there was something to like here, but it didn’t click fully with me.

Reminds me a little of Outward Bound. But with super cool sled dogs.

A ★★★★★ review of The Alabama Solution (2025) Incredibly well made and absolutely infuriating.  Treating a convicted criminal like an animal and in and way that is also criminal is not justice.

Hard to watch and will make any sane person furious. This is not justice.

A ★★★ review of Crime 101 (2026) I liked this but it definitely didn’t stick the landing.  Way too neat and tidy.  Really solid action sequences though and a great car chase about halfway through.

Not bad, but the ending was a bit too neat and tidy for me.
